Elena Talingo, 19, shattered U.S. records by earning a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management just six months after high school through UW–Green Bay’s Rising Phoenix Program, saving $80,000 in tuition and securing a job at Honeywell Aerospace.

Elena Talingo, 19, earned a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management from UW–Green Bay just six months after high school, setting a record in the US. She completed 132 college credits through the Rising Phoenix Program while still in high school.

Elena’s accelerated path saved her family $80,000 in tuition and secured her a job at Honeywell Aerospace, Minneapolis. “I felt accomplished. I actually did it,” she said. Her advice: “Take every opportunity, ask questions, and never underestimate yourself”.

UW–Green Bay supported her unconventional path, and Elena’s now focusing on career growth debt-free. The Rising Phoenix Program allowed her to take college-level courses alongside high school studies, showcasing her dedication and work ethic.

Elena’s achievement highlights the benefits of early college engagement. She completed two internships, gaining hands-on experience, and is set to join Honeywell Aerospace’s Development program. Her story inspires others to pursue unconventional paths.
