CURSORY: An inspiringly young woman, accomplished a remarkable feat, as she becomes the youngest female to earn her PhD in Tamale.


Mumuni Napari Hanifa, a 28-year-old Ghanaian Lady, has reportedly become the youngest woman from Tamale in Ghana to earn a doctoral degree in Applied Statistics.
Tamale officially called Tamale Metropolitan Area is the capital city of the Northern Region of Ghana. Tamale is Ghana’s third-largest city.

Hanifa, successfully defended her PhD dissertation and will graduate with her degree from the University for Development Studies, where her research focused on software reliability growth models.
Hanifa is a lecturer at the Tamale Technical University, where she is helping to shape the future of her students.
Aside from providing course content that has meaningful application in real life, Hanifa is also a student mentor who provides career guidance and other professional support.
The high-achieving woman’s success was largely influenced by AIMS Ghana as she gained programming and public speaking skills as an academic and researcher from the Institute.
