CURSORY: A 57-year-old woman who aspires to be a nurse has returned to school despite her age.


Elizabeth Yamoah, a Ghanaian woman has returned to junior secondary school, to further her studies.
The woman, who is also a grandmother, enrolled at Agona Odoben Presby JHS, the same school her granddaughter with the aim of achieving her dream of being a nurse.
This courageous act of her’s, has inspired many young adults across Africa and beyond.
Sharing her story on social media, Nana Akua Asidedua noted that there are a lot of old people who still love to go back to school but could not make it far because of home and financial issues. She applauded Elizabeth for being a role model to them.
Elizabeth was reported to have taken the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
