A total of 761,892 Candidates Register for 2025 UTME, as a 94-year-old man registers for the exam.
A total of seven hundred sixty-one thousand eight hundred ninety-two (761,892) candidates have registered for the 2025 JAMB UTME, according to the latest JAMB bulletin sighted by Allschool.ng.
The bulletin also emphasized that JAMB registration ends on 8th March 2025, which is 21 days from today.
The exam will still be held from 25th April to 5th May 2025.

Pa Adedapo Idowu, a 94-year-old man who has taken a bold step to fulfill his dream of returning to school in his old age, has taken a bold step to register for the 2025 JAMB Exam.
Sharing his experience with the registration, the Nonagenarian lauded JAMB for its professionalism and its commitment to inclusivity.
While expressing appreciation for the deployment of relevant technology that made the process so user-friendly, the nonagenarian especially lauded the Board’s integration of his National identity Number (NIN) for ease in data collection and the absence of discrimination against the old, the under-privileged and people with disabilities.
He also praised the professional conduct of staff of the Board which, according to him, “gave him a sense of belonging through the warm reception at the registration venue”.
JAMB Registrar Expresses Satisfaction with the 2025 UTME Registration Exercise
The Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, has expressed satisfaction with the ongoing registration process for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). His assessment followed monitoring visits to registration centers in Ilorin, Kwara State, on Thursday, February 13th, Lagos on Friday, February 14th, and Kaduna on Saturday, February 15th.
Prof. Oloyede attributed the success of the exercise to the dedication, competence, and commitment of JAMB staff nationwide. He noted that this year’s registration process has been smoother than in previous years. He also commended security personnel for their efforts in maintaining order and ensuring a seamless registration experience.
“I am proud of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers, the staff, and everyone involved in this process. This exercise is far better,” he stated. “Our success is due to our dedicated staff, who know that we do not compromise on excellence. I believe they have all performed exceptionally well,” he added.
Speaking with journalists, many candidates echoed the Registrar’s positive remarks, praising the user-friendly nature of this year’s registration process. Their feedback highlights a collective appreciation for the improvements made in the 2025 UTME registration.
