Cursory: A sense of melancholy and sadness has spread around the Kwara University campus. The management of the university has proclaimed Dr. Ajeigbe Issa, the head of the Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education, deceased. It was reported that the eminent educator passed away peacefully at his Ilorin country residence.
Following the tragic news that Dr. Ajeigbe Issa had passed away while sleeping, the whole Kwara State University, Malete community has been devastated.
A university circular obtained by Legit.ng states that Dr. Issa served as the department head for human kinetics and health education and the institution’s acting director of sports before to his passing.
According to reports, he unfortunately passed away on April 24 at his home in Ilorin, the state capital of Kwara.
Dr. Kikelomo Sallee, the Registrar of KWASU, responded to the news by confirming Dr. Ajeigbe’s death and stating that an Islamic funeral ceremony would be performed to honor him.
The lecturer’s hometown of Budo-Egba, Asa LGA, Kwara State, hosted the funeral ceremonies. According to the University’s announcement, the funeral rites were performed about 10 a.m. on April 24.

The University’s management further extended their condolences to the deceased’s family, urging them to seek comfort in God.
The statement reads:
“As the University mourns this loss of a committed member of staff, we pray Allah forgives all his shortcomings and admits him into Jannat ul Firdaus.
“May Allah also console his family, friends and the University Community.”
