Cursory: The examination board said all tertiary institutions should stop selling part-time forms to applicants and apply through the JAMB portal instead.

Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has ordered higher institutions in Nigeria, including universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education, to stop selling part-time, distance learning, and other alternative admission forms.
In a tweet, the examination board stated that all admission into first-degree, National Diploma, National Innovation Diploma and the Nigeria Certificate in Education, full-time or part-time, must now be processed through JAMB.
JAMB said the directive would be enforced through the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE), National Universities Commission (NUC), and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
The board, however, did not give a reason for the new directive,
This is coming when many institutions are rounding up their academic sessions and opening their portals to admission seekers.
It also comes weeks after President Bola Tinubu signed the student loan bill into law.

“No Institution should advertise or sell “application forms” for admissions into the programmes.“
