A lecturer at Nnamdi Azikiwe University faced backlash for using scissors to trim a male student’s bushy hairstyle during class, sparking outrage on social media for bypassing proper disciplinary procedures.

A lecturer at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Unizik, faces backlash for using scissors to trim off a male student’s hairstyle for looking bushy.
A video making the rounds on social captured the moment a lecturer interrupted an ongoing class to address the hairstyle of one of his students.

The man pulled out a pair of scissors and aimed it at the student’s hair, trimming it unevenly to encourage his standard of acceptable hairstyle in the university environment.
The video has since sparked outrage from social media users who condemned the man for taking laws into his own hands instead of the proper disciplinary system.
