A viral video from Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has sparked widespread criticism, showing students packed into an overcrowded classroom while taking a pre-examination test.
The video, which surfaced on Wednesday, September 25, reveals students struggling to be monitored for cheating in the congested space, with others seated outside on a culvert, using textbooks and notes.
Comrade Waheed Saka, convener of Dialogue 365, criticized the situation, stating, “Such an environment cannot produce quality students. It’s unethical, and I urge the National Board of Technical Education (NBTE) to review the courses they offer.”
