Forty-one students earned first-class honors at Federal University Lokoja’s eighth convocation, where the Vice-Chancellor celebrated the graduates’ achievements and encouraged them to uphold the university’s core values in their future endeavors.
Forty-one students from the Federal University Lokoja (FUL) in Kogi State have graduated with first-class honors, according to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olayemi Akinwumi, who made the announcement during the university’s eighth convocation ceremony at the Felele campus.
Prof. Akinwumi provided further details, revealing that 461 students achieved Second Class Upper, 974 earned Second Class Lower, 384 graduated with Third Class, and 3 with Pass degrees.
He emphasized the significance of the ceremony, celebrating the graduates’ hard work and dedication, and announced that honorary degrees would be awarded to notable individuals who have significantly contributed to the university and national development.
The Vice-Chancellor congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to uphold the values of respect, integrity, innovation, dedication, and diligence as they move forward in their careers.
