Professor Nuhu Yaqub, a former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Abuja, has passed away at the age of 73 after a brief illness.
The university confirmed his death in a statement on Facebook, expressing condolences:
“The University of Abuja mourns the passing of our esteemed former Vice-Chancellor, Professor Nuhu O. Yaqub, OFR (2004–2009). Yaqub passed away this morning in Abuja after a brief illness at the age of 73.”
