The Governor of Lagos State, Babjide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos State Governor and the Visitor to the Lagos State University (LASU) has installed Professor Gbolahan Elias, SAN as the Chancellor of the University.
This was during the University’s 24th convocation ceremony at the Buba Marwa Auditorium at the university campus in Iyana Iba, Lagos.
The Governor who joined the convocation ceremony via zoom and also did the installation through the same platform charged the newly installed Chancellor to perform it’s duty optimally to lift the University to an enviable height.
Professor Elias was decorated physically by Dr. Obafemi Kadri Hamzat, the State Deputy Governor in conjunction with the University’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olanrewaju Fagbohun.
While speaking after installation, Professor Elias appreciated the State government for the support given to the university in the past and currently.
