The Management of University of Abuja has directed the dissoluton of the Students Union Government ( Executive Committee, Students Representative Assembly and Judicial Committee), for having overstayed its tenure in office.


The Government was elected in September 2019.
Following the dissolution, a Caretaker Committee is to be constituted to run the affairs of the Union.
The Committee is expected to comprise representatives of all Faculties, drawn from “all regions of the country among our students” for the consideration of the Vice-Chancellor, according to a memo signed by the Registrar, Malam Yahya I. Mohammed.
