Reginald Dominique earned an MBA from Clark Atlanta University, celebrating the achievement as a testament to perseverance, academic excellence, and support from family, friends, and faculty.

Reginald Dominique, a young African-American man, has earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Clark Atlanta University, celebrating the milestone as a reflection of his perseverance and dedication to lifelong goals.

In a LinkedIn post, Reginald expressed pride in continuing the legacy of Clark Atlanta University, the first Historically Black College and University (HBCU) in the Southern U.S. and the first to offer graduate degrees to African Americans. “I’m proud to be part of this historic journey and excited to carry this torch forward,” he wrote.

During his time at Clark Atlanta, Reginald was actively involved in the National Black MBA Association, securing first place at the Stellantis North America Graduate Minority Business Case Competition and second place at the 19th Annual KeyBank & Ohio State University MBA Case Competition. He was also recognized as part of the National Black MBA Association HBCU Scholar Cohort (2022-2023).

His achievements were supported by multiple scholarships, including the William F. Packard Scholarship, Delta Air Lines Award for Excellence, the General Endowed Scholarship, and the First Year Graduate Student Scholarship. Additionally, Reginald became a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.

Completing the Working Professional MBA program in just 18 months, he balanced a rigorous load of 25 classes, attributing his success to resilience, persistence, and the support of family, friends, and faculty. Quoting Barack Obama, Reginald highlighted the importance of perseverance: “To never give up is to defy the odds, for perseverance is the key to unlocking every door.”

He concluded by thanking the faculty and administration for exemplifying the university’s motto: “Find a Way or Make One.” Reginald also holds a bachelor’s degree in Radio, Film, and Broadcasting from Texas Southern University.
