A young woman named Akunna has successfully earned a Biomedical Science degree with honors from Nottingham University, completing her program in just three years.
Akunna shared her accomplishment on Instagram, reflecting on the challenges she faced while balancing her academic workload and business commitments. She described the experience as bittersweet, highlighting the difficulty of managing both her studies and her career as a lash technician.
“Three years over just like that. It’s bittersweet. I thank the Almighty God for giving me the strength to finish this degree. It wasn’t easy running a business while being a full-time biomedical science student, but with God, there is always a way,” Akunna wrote.
Throughout her time at university, Akunna managed her business, Lavish Glance, successfully building a loyal client base. She expressed deep appreciation for her clients, many of whom became her friends, and acknowledged the impact their support had on her journey.
“Three years of Lavish Glance in Nottingham, and I want to say thank you to all my clients who supported my business. I love and appreciate you all—you’ve truly become my friends, and I’m going to miss you dearly,” she said.
Despite the challenges, Akunna’s story stands as an inspiring example of determination and hard work, demonstrating how passion and perseverance can lead to success both academically and professionally.
