JAMB Officially Announces Top 10 Best Student in 2023 UTME

Cursory: The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the top 10 candidates in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME). The announcement was made by JAMB’s registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, during the 2023 policy meeting in Abuja. The meeting focused on discussions about admissions guidelines and the minimum admissible score for tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has recently released the list of the top 10 candidates in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME), with the highest score being an impressive 360.

Umeh Nkechinyere emerged as the highest scorer, achieving a remarkable score of 360 in the UTME, as reported by The Punch.

The registrar of JAMB, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, announced this update during the 2023 policy meeting held in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city.

Umeh, who hails from Anambra state, secured the top position with her outstanding score.Additionally, Professor Oloyede unveiled the names of the other top 10 candidates, including Aguele Stephen with a score of 358, Ositade Oluwafemi with 358, Gbolahan Ayinde with 357, John Fulfilment with 356, and Chimdubem Ugonna with 355, among others.

The meeting, which took place on Saturday, June 24, served as a platform for education stakeholders to discuss policy statements and guidelines related to admissions.

One of the key topics of discussion was determining the minimum admissible score to be applied by all tertiary institutions in Nigeria for their admissions.
