Philip Okafor, a 200-level student of Microbiology at the University of Benin, has received a Dean’s special prize for exemplary behaviour which would exempt him from paying school fees throughout his remaining period of undergraduate studies in the faculty.

The wallet’s owner is said to be a 200 level student of Environmental Management and Toxicology.
According to a statement signed by the Dean, prior to receiving the award, Okafor had found a wallet containing a substantial amount of money which belonged to another student and instead of keeping the money for himself like many would have, searched for the owner and returned the wallet with its contents intact.
This good deed was brought to the Dean’s attention who thanked Okafor for his exemplary behaviour and offered him unfettered access to the Dean’s office should there be any need for him to come.
