Following the earlier press release by NEC of the academic staff union which exposes that the union has withdrawn their initial decision to go on strike, Nigerian students showed their happiness and excitement on social media, congratulating the ASUU chairman.
The press released by the union discloses that they considered the interventions of many students union, media, organizations, and therefore this makes the union make a U-turn on the intended strike.
