Students Of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, have protested over the seizure and destruction of a student’s expensive phone by a lecturer in a class.
It was reported that the student was using the phone to browse while the lecturer was teaching in a class. The lecturer is from the Department of philosophy.
The lecturer is alleged to have seized the expensive phone and smashed it in class.

His action caused commotion and triggered uproar as the students protest at the administrative block. A clip posted on social media shows the angry students expressing displeasure on behalf of their affected colleague.
According to the message shared by eyewitness GossipMill sent with the caption; ”Lecturer (Philosophy department) smashed a student’s iPhone 11 Pro Max because he was using it to browse…”
