The kidnapped vice Principal of Government Junior Secondary School (GJSS) Yebu, Nuhu Mohammed at the Kwali District Council in Abuja, was let free after paying a ransom of 2 million.

We had earlier reported that a month ago, the kidnappers kidnapped the vice-principal, who broke into the school staff dormitory in the Yebu community.
A family member of the victim who did not want to be named confirmed that the vice principal has been released.
He said the vice-principal was released at 6:44 pm on Wednesday in a forest bordering the Toto local government area in Nasarawa and Kogi states.
“It was N2 million they later collected but they asked the family to buy a bag of rice, drinks, cigarettes, recharge cards, and drugs, which cost almost N200, 000,” he said.
He said that the vice-principal is still receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital. FCT Police Command spokesperson DSP Adeh Josephine did not answer the phone or reply to a text message sent to comment on the release of the deputy principal.
