Adamawa State University, ADSU Shuts Down School Over Coronavirus


It is sad to announce that the authorities of Adamawa State University (ADSU) has shut down the University as a measure to curb the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19).
This is coming after the National Universities Commission and Federal Ministry of Education ordered the closure of Schools to curb the spread of virus.
The University Authorities made the announcement through a letter directed to her students and Staff. The letter fully reads:
CLOSURE OF THE UNIVERSITY
The Senate at its emergency Meeting held today, 20th March, 2020, has directed that the University should be closed for one (1 month, as from 23rrd March 2020.
This is in compliance to NUC directives for the closure of all Nigerian Universities in lase with the Federal Government measure to check the potential spread of the Corona Virus.
All staff and students are to remain caln and adhere to medical advice with respect to protecting themselves from the virus.
