ADSU to get 100 housing units

The Governor of Adamawa State who also doubles as the Visitor to Adamawa State University Mubi Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has approved allocation of 100 housing units to be constructed in the University out of the share of houses allocated to the state by NCDC.

This move is yet another confirmation of the commitment of the Fresh Air Government to repositioning Education in the State. The University has enjoyed tremendous attention under the current administration in the State.

To back words with action,a Technical Committee from the Adamawa State Ministry of land and survey was immediately despatched to Mubi on a site Identification mission so as to actualize immediate commencement of the project

The Committee made up of Mr. Frama Gidado as team leader, surveyor Stephen Damuya as Member, Town planner Solomon Shallangwa as Member and Mr. Jonah Kefas as Secretary undertook a preliminary survey of the site located at the Sahuda Road Campus of the University alongside other Technical staff from the Mubi Zonal land office and the Physical Planning Department of the University .

The University community is indeed grateful to His Excellency Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, and the North East Development Commission for the gesture and look forward to it’s actualization.
