The Anambra State Ministry of Basic Education in partnership with the Anambra Broadcasting Service has devised an ingenious virtual learning programme for pupils and students in the State.


The programme, called Anambra Teaching On Air, will kick off on the ABS Radio Stations today.
According to the Commissioner for Basic Education, Professor Kate Omenugha, the broadcast education technique will stand in the gap for normal classroom situation, truncated by the Corona-virus induced closure of schools in Anambra State.

Professor Omenugha, spoke yesterday, in a programme anchored by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Chief Uche Nworah in Awka.
The Anambra Teaching On Air, which will run from Mondays to Fridays, is to be received on ABS 88.5FM Awka, and ABS 90.7FM, Onitsha.
Students and other listeners are expected to join live, by downloading Anambra Broadcasting Service App from Google play store.
