Favour Chigozie Nwadinobi, a student at Premium Breed Secondary School in Nnewichi Nnewi, Anambra State, has emerged as the top performer in Chemistry in Anambra.

This achievement has earned him a place among the six finalists who will represent Nigeria at the 2023 International Chemistry Olympiad in Switzerland. Nwadinobi competed against students from over 600 schools in Anambra to secure his spot as one of the country’s representatives.

During his speech, Nwadinobi credited his success to God, his teachers, and his commitment to studies. The state Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, warmly received the team at her office in the State Secretariat Complex in Awka.

She emphasized that Nwadinobi’s accomplishment showcased the government’s unwavering dedication to providing Anambra students with opportunities for academic excellence on national and international platforms.

Chuma-Udeh commended Nwadinobi and the school for their exceptional performance, emphasizing the importance of continued dedication and hard work.

She urged them not to become complacent, as the state eagerly anticipates their outstanding performance at the Olympiad.
