Oyakhire Halima Sadia, a talented Nigerian graduate, earned a first-class degree in Petroleum Engineering with an outstanding 4.91/5.00 CGPA from Covenant University.

Her exceptional performance earned her the award for Best Graduating Student in her department, along with a ₦150,000 cash prize.

Reflecting on her academic journey on LinkedIn, Halima described it as both challenging and rewarding, expressing gratitude for the support she received along the way.

In an interview with Vanguard Nigeria, she explained how she managed to balance leadership roles, extracurricular activities, and academics, acknowledging the experience as demanding but fulfilling.

Passionate about innovation and sustainable growth, Halima aims to become a leader in the energy sector, particularly in oil and gas, while also nurturing her interest in fashion by bringing her own ideas to the industry.

Looking ahead, she plans to further her education, gain expertise in business development and management, pursue leadership roles in sustainability-focused companies, and eventually launch her own fashion brand and a business in the energy sector.
