COUNCIL SCHOLARSHIP scheme. The award shall be offered on a competitive basis.

Students Eligible to Apply for BSU Scholarship
To be qualified for the scholarship award, student must fulfill the under listed conditions/criteria:
i. Only students with Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of between 2.5 and 5.0 on a five (5) Point Grade or 2.0 and 4.0 on a four (4) point grade.
In case of medical students, the Cumulative Average Score should be converted into 4.0 Grade System for eligibility consideration.
ii. The applicant must at least be at 200 level of his/her studies in any of the academic departments of the University.
iii. Applicants must attach a copy of signed official Course Registration Form for the 2nd semester of 2017/2018 and 1st semester of 2018/2019 Academic Sessions.

How to Apply for Benue State University Scholarship
Applicants are to apply in writing to the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Benue State University with the following personal details:
a. Local Government of Origin
b. Reason for applying
c. Matriculation Number
d. Department/Level of study
e. CGPA
Deadline to Apply
All applications should reach the office of the Registrar on or before close of work on Friday, 23rd August, 2019. Applicants are to ensure strict compliance with the above time line as no application shall be entertained after Friday 23rd August, 2019.
