A first-class Biochemistry graduate from Covenant University, Ambassador Wisdom, has gone viral after being spotted running a phone accessory store at Alaba International Market. He was discovered by @amosubik on X (formerly Twitter), who questioned why Wisdom spent 4-5 years in university instead of starting the business earlier.
Wisdom, hailing from Eastern Nigeria, makes a daily income selling phone accessories and runs his business flexibly, opening and closing at will. He even hung a picture of himself with Bishop David Oyedepo, Covenant University’s founder, in his store.
In response, Wisdom expressed gratitude to @amosubik, introducing himself as CEO of Ambassador Global Communication, proud of his First-Class Honours degree in Biochemistry from Covenant University.
The tweet sparked debates on education vs entrepreneurship. Some argued education provides structure, networks, and options, while others saw entrepreneurship as a practical choice. “@c2sin4mi_ayinla said, “Education is what remains in you if you forget all you learn”.
Many praised Wisdom’s hustle, combining academic excellence with business acumen. “@UgoJ3 noted, “School gave him structure, networks, and options”.
Covenant University, ranked Nigeria’s best university in 2024-2025, emphasizes entrepreneurship in its curriculum, possibly inspiring Wisdom’s venture.
