Eight Final-Year Students of Osun State University have been awarded a grant for their research by their school management.


The management of Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has granted research support to eight final-year students, highlighting its commitment to fostering a strong research culture and encouraging innovative problem-solving.
This initiative is designed to promote outstanding research projects with significant societal impact.
At the grant presentation ceremony, Vice-Chancellor Clement Adebooye announced that N500,000 was awarded to students whose research proposals showed exceptional merit in terms of conception, execution, and societal benefit.
He explained the selection process, which involved a call for applications from all final-year students, submission of project proposals, rigorous evaluation by a distinguished Management Committee, and the selection of the most promising research projects.
The Vice-Chancellor emphasized the university’s dedication to academic excellence and the promotion of research and development among its students.
