Former Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Suleiman Abba has given N145million scholarship to 130 students to study Information and Communication Technology in tertiary institutions.


Abba, speaking on Monday at the Dutse Emirate Development Forum Congress meeting at Manpower Development Institute, Dutse, said: “Our purpose is to ginger our teeming youths with science bias discipline as future career to develop their talents, in furtherance of their educational knowledge among their areas of core study, for them to be fully digitalised in comparison to the global world.”

According to him, “the beneficiaries will be drawn from seven local government areas of Dutse Central Senatorial District.”
Abba said he sponsored 30 students at the cost of N35million last year to Hi-tech IT Technology Education in Kano, Lagos and Abuja.
