Ogechi Ifezi, a brilliant Nigerian scholar, has graduated with first-class honors in Law (LLB) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, marking a significant milestone in her academic journey.
Reflecting on her success, Ogechi expressed gratitude on LinkedIn, highlighting the transformative six-year journey of resilience, learning, and growth. She credited her achievement to years of hard work and the support of friends, mentors, and colleagues.
Beyond academics, Ogechi demonstrated leadership and excellence in various capacities. She served as the Founding President of ILSA UNN, President of The Greener Picture, and President of the Court of Appeal, UNN. Her dedication earned her prestigious accolades, including recognition as a 2023 Nigeria Higher Education Foundation (NHEF) Scholar and a Millennium Campus Network (MCN) Fellow.
Ogechi also gained practical legal experience through internships at top law firms, such as TEMPLARS, G. Elias, Olaniwun Ajayi, and Babalakin & Co. She balanced these responsibilities with a passion for writing, achieving commendable results in essay competitions, including being a finalist in the WIPO Nigeria Office Essay Competition and the 1st Runner-up in the NICArb Essay 2023.
