The viral video of a woman accused by Pastor Paul Enenche of giving a false testimony has sparked reactions online. In the video, the woman claimed to have a bachelor’s degree in law, but Pastor Enenche corrected her, stating that it should be an LL.B. instead of a B.Sc.
However, evidence has since emerged online confirming that the woman, Vera Anyim, graduated from the National Open University (NOUN) with a law degree. Photos on her social media pages showed her convocating as a student of NOUN, and her name appeared on the convocation list published by the university.
Investigative journalist Deborah Kolawole also vouched for Anyim Vera, providing further evidence to support her graduation from NOUN. Nigerians have called on Pastor Enenche to apologize for embarrassing the woman.
Additionally, it was revealed that Miss Anyim is a Nigerian police officer. This incident is not the first time Pastor Paul Enenche has been involved in a public scandal. Previously, he was reportedly involved in the 2023 election, which almost led to his arrest.
