The Nigeria Council of Legal Education has revealed that a total of 1,325 Nigerians failed the bar examination conducted in March this year.


At the examination which had 5770 candidates in attendance, 4,350 were successful, while 35 others had conditional passes.
A statement from the Law School sighted by DAILY POST on Wednesday indicated that 75 percent success was recorded in the examination.
The statement signed by the Director General of the Law School, Professor Isa Hayatu Chioma indicated that the yearly call to bar for the fresh lawyers will be conducted on July 27, 28 and 29.
Chioma, a Professor of law said in the statement that the call to bar for the new lawyers will be held at the Eagle Square in Abuja as against the ideal International Conference Center, also in Abuja.
