A First Class Final Year UNIBEN Student Commits Suicide

A Final Year University of Benin (UNIBEN) Student Commits Suicide.

A 5 years programme final-year student of the University of Benin, (UNIBEN) Edo State identified as Adam, has reported to have committed suicide.

The incident has been confirmed by the the management of UNIBEN on Saturday.

Adams, a 500-level student of the Department of Computer Engineering, was found dangling from the roof of his room at Ekosodin Community in Ovia North-East Local Government Area of the state.

The deceased had earlier visited his department Thursday evening to submit an assignment and went back home.

Later, his friends who had unsuccessfully tried to contact him went to his house.

They then contacted relatives who broke the door of Adam’s room.

UNIBEN Public Relations Officer, Michael Osasuyi, said the student’s death came as a surprise to the university community.

“His father came to see him and that was how it was discovered that he hung himself.

“The information that got to us was that he was a bright student, a first-class material,” he explained.

Adam’s remains have been deposited in the University’s morgue.

3. You have a brighter future! Committing suicide is not the option!
4. If people have been committing suicide, who will invent the rope/material you want to use to hand yourself.
5. Don’t you think you will have beautiful kids in future?
6. Do you know that you’re the best of your kind? DO you know that your problem is not the worst on this planet earth? Do you know that if everybody commits suicide, you wouldn’t have been alive as your parents should have committed suicide.
