A man believed to be a lecturer with the Federal University of Petroleum, Effurun, Delta State, (FUPRE), has condemned the recent attitude of students of the institution constantly taking over parking spaces meant for university workers.

In a video clip posted online, it is alleged that flashy cars belonging to students have taken over the school environment, many of whom were acquired during the coronavirus lockdown and ASUU strike.
The unidentified lecturer is said to have called on the university securities to intervene after his car was blocked by the students’ car preventing him from moving.
According to reports, many lecturers at the University have been complaining about their parking spaces being filled with cars of their students, leaving them with little or no space to park their vehicles within the school premises.
