Nnaji Treasure Chidiogo, a newly inducted medical doctor from Babcock University, has made history by breaking two academic records at the College of Health and Medical Sciences.
She earned nine distinctions and became the first doctor to achieve a distinction in Community Health, an accomplishment celebrated during the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria’s 9th induction of 93 doctors.
The Ogun State branch of the Nigeria Medical Association honored her with a N200,000 cash award and a plaque.
Babcock University’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ademola Tayo, praised the new doctors and urged them to prioritize patient care over financial gain, while Prof. John Sotunsa, Provost of Benjamin Carson College, highlighted the importance of communication and the fight against corruption in improving healthcare outcomes.
Nnaji’s achievement sets a high standard for future medical professionals.
