FUTA Unveils Best Graduating Student With Record-Breaking 4.98 CGPA

Akindunbi Aduragbemi Isaac set a new FUTA record by graduating as the best student with an exceptional 4.98 CGPA, earning multiple awards and nationwide praise for his outstanding academic performance.

Akindunbi Aduragbemi Isaac, a Civil and Environmental Engineering student at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), has emerged as the best graduating student for the 2024/2025 academic session, setting a new academic record in the institution.

Akindunbi graduated with an extraordinary 4.98 CGPA, the highest ever attained in FUTA’s history. According to the university’s announcement on Facebook, he earned a perfect 5.0 GPA in all semesters except his 400-level first semester, where he scored 4.85.

  • 100 Level: 4.95 (1st Semester), 5.0 (2nd Semester)
  • 200 Level: 5.0 (1st & 2nd Semesters)
