‘God Still Does Wonders’ – University First Class Graduate Tells His Story

CURSORY: According to a Facebook post made by the UNN first-class graduate Daniel Ndukwe, he didn’t want to share his ordeal, but because he wanted others to know his story, he had to share it.

Daniel Ndukwe a graduate of the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) finished his final exam last year December, and he was excited about seeing his name among the list of graduates considering (he thought) he didn’t have any issues in school.

Unfortunately, even after 3 lists were released already his name wasn’t among the list of graduants.

At that point, he became sad and surprised, wondering what the problem was. Eventually he started moving around the school, from office to office, seeking to know what the problem was.

He went from office of the registrar, to admission office, and then to records office, and that was where he found out that his file was missing. Apparently only his own file was missing out of everyone else.

Even after he been told that they would look for his file, three weeks passed without any positive news. He then had to call his pastors and also his parents to pray about the issue with him, while he also continued praying about it.

He said that after some time another list came out, and he graduated with a first-class degree with a CGPA of 4.52

I was hesitant about sharing this here but because of some reasons I am putting up this post.

Last year December, I wrote my final exams and graduated from the prestigious university (University of Nigeria Nsukka, UNN).

Collation of our exam results for approval began and I was very optimistic (seeing that I had no issues in school) that my name was going to be included in the list of graduands. Unfortunately, three (3) list was released by the senate and my name was not included in any of them.

I was perplexed and downcasted because I didn’t know what the issue was. I reached out to our registrar and she said the reason my name wasn’t on the list was because my file didn’t get to her.

I was told to go to admissions to know what the issue was. I went there and they brought out their record book and I saw that I had been cleared from admissions. They directed me to records department, on getting there, another record was opened but to my amazement my name wasn’t there.

What could have happened? My file was missing? How? It seems I was the only person who had the issue of missing file.

They said they were going to look for it, 2 weeks passed, 3 weeks passed, a month passed and my file wasn’t still found. I called my Pastors Promise OkaforGospel Nnanna and explained to them what had happened and they prayed and said everything was going to be fine. I also called my parents who joined in praying for me.

While I was praying also, God led me to go see our Dean because the response I was getting from records department was not welcoming. I found favour in her sight and she helped hasten the whole process of making sure my file gets to my registrar. The file wasn’t found but a temporal file was created for me.

To cut the long story short , last week another list came out and I graduated with FIRST CLASS HONOURS with a CGPA of 4.52

THIS COULDN’T HAVE HAPPENED WITHOUT GOD AND THAT’S THE REASON FOR ME PUTTING UP THIS POST. TO OPENLY THANK GOD FOR VICTORY IN MY ACADEMICS.
