Social media influencer Nana Tea brought joy to students at the Koforidua Lizbern Educational Complex by providing them with free meals.
Accompanied by friends, Nana Tea distributed the food to the delighted children. This initiative is part of a larger effort by KFC to give back to the community.
In a video posted on TikTok, Nana Tea and his friends can be seen handing out KFC jollof rice and chicken to the students, who eagerly lined up for their meals. The children enjoyed their lunch in their spacious classroom and praised the delicious food.
According to reports, this initiative was created by KFC in collaboration with Nana Tea to deliver free meals to selected basic schools throughout Ghana. Each month, KFC plans to donate 500 packs of its “Streetwise Wings Meal” to these schools. Social media followers of the food brand can nominate schools for the free lunch.
Nana Tea encouraged nominations in the caption of his TikTok video, stating, “It’s free 500 KFC ‘streetwise wings’ lunch time. KFC Ghana is giving free KFC meals to basic schools each month. Continue to nominate your school; you might be the chosen one.”
Following the video, netizens inquired about how to nominate their schools, with many eager to participate in the initiative.
