Muhammad Garba Gololo, member House of representatives, (Gamawa Federal constituency of Bauchi State, has been accused by the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) over forged certificate of his first and second degree.


In an eight-count charge it filed at the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the commission said Garba-Gololo claimed to have attended the Lagos State University (LASU), where he purportedly obtained both certificates.
According ICPC, the lawmaker presented forged Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree to the Independent National electoral Commission (INEC) to contest election.
His arraignment planned for yesterday before Justice K. N. Ogbonnaya of the High Court of the FCT in Kubwa was put off when he failed to attend court.
Justice Ogbonnaya has rescheduled the arraignment for April 11
