A Nigerian Student, Idris Abdulrasheed from Kogi State who scored high in JAMB despite studying in an uncompleted building earns full scholarship from a company.

Idris Abdulrasheed Adeiza, a student from Kogi State who studied in an uncompleted building, has earned a full university scholarship from a company after scoring 323 in the 2024 UTME.
Idris’s remarkable achievement gained widespread attention when Alex Onyia, CEO of Educare, highlighted his success despite the poor conditions of his school.

Despite the challenging environment, Idris excelled in the exam, which had a 71% failure rate in 2024.
Alex Onyia shared on the X platform that Bere-mont Group will also donate books to Idris’ school to support other students.
In his initial post, Onyia wrote, “This is the school Idris Abdulrasheed Adeiza attended in Kogi state and still scored 323 in JAMB 2024, the second best in the state. A child determined to succeed will always succeed no matter how tough the situation is. He is a star!”
Updating about the scholarship, Onyia added, “Good News: Bere-mont Group, owners of Bereton Montessori School and Charles Dale Memorial International School Port-Harcourt, are now offering Idris Abdulrasheed Adeiza a full scholarship for his entire university education. In addition, they will donate books to his school to support other students. I love this. More private schools should follow this example!”
