Man Seeks Eligible JAMB Candidate to Offer Full Scholarship, Shares Minimum UTME Score for Applicant

A Nigerian man has pledged to provide a scholarship to any female who scores over 320 in the 2024 UTME.

A Nigerian man has pledged to provide a scholarship to any female student who scores over 320 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Aside the score, the applicant must be in dire need of financial assistance with no available support.

The benefactor identified as Alex Onyia announced on social media that he will offer a scholarship to any student who meets his criteria.

To qualify, the applicant must be a female with an aggregate score of over 320 in the UTME. Onyia emphasized that the student must also be unable to afford further education without assistance.

Onyia has committed to covering school fees, accommodation, textbooks, and monthly upkeep for the scholarship recipient until she completes her education.

He stated, “I’m looking for a girl who scored above 320 in JAMB and cannot afford to continue her education to the university. I will offer her a full scholarship, including school fees, accommodation, textbooks, and monthly upkeep.”

Many people responded to Onyia’s announcement, recommending their friends and loved ones.

Chinonso Eze praised Onyia’s dedication, saying, “If our government put just 10% of your energy into education, the crime rate in this country would reduce drastically.”
