UTME / JAMB SUBJECT COMBINATION FOR ESTATE MANAGEMENT

English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and one other subject

VIEW SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS (WAIVER)
  • (i) ABSU requires Mathematics, Economics and one other subject from Chemistry, Geography, Agricultural Science and Biology.
  • (ii) BAUCHI accepts for Environmental Management Technology: Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry.
  • (iii) BAUCHI accepts for Estate Management: Mathematics, one Science subject and either Geography or Economics
  • (iv) BELLS requires either Chemistry, Geography or Physics as one other subject
  • (v) COVENANT requires English Language, Mathematics, Economics, one Science Subject from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and one social Science Subject.
  • (vi) CUAB requires Mathematics, Economics and one other Science subject.
  • (vii) FUTA requires Mathematics, Economics and any other subject from Geography, Chemistry, Biology and Agriculture.
  • (viii) LAGOS requires English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any one of Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography and Financial Accounting.
  • (ix) OAU accepts Mathematics, Economics and any one from Geography, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Technical Drawing and Fine Arts.
  • (x) RSU requires Mathematics, English Language, Economics, and any other Science subject.
  • (xi) UNIZIK requires either of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science , Geography or Fine Arts as the third subject.
  • (xii) KASU requires Mathematics, Economics and one other subject.

O’LEVEL REQUIREMENT FOR ESTATE MANAGEMENT

Five (5) SSC credit passes including Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language

  • (i) ABSU requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language Mathematics, Economics and any other two (2) subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography and Technical Drawing.
  • (ii) AUCHIPOLY-DEG requires Credit level pass in five (5) subjects at not more than two (2) sittings to include Mathematics, English Language, Economics and any other two (2) subjects.
  • (iii) BAUCHI requires a) for Environmental Management Technology, five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics or Geography. b) for Estate Management, five (5) ‘O’ Level credits in English Language, Mathematics, plus 2 Science Subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Agric Science and a Credit in either Economics or Geography.
  • (iv) BELLS requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two (2) from Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, and Technical Drawing.
  • (v) COVENANT requires credit passes in Economics, one Science subjects and one of Geography or Technical Drawing.
  • (vi) CRUTECH requires Geography and Economics.
  • (vii) CUAB requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two (2) subjects from Chemistry, Physics, Business Studies/Commerce, Geography, Biology, Agricultural Science and Technical Drawing.
  • (viii) CUAB requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Geography and any two (2) of Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Government, Biology, Social Studies and Technical Drawing.
  • (ix) ESUTECH requires five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any from Physics, Surveying, Building Construction, Geography, Biology, Technical Drawing and Fine Arts.
  • (x) FUTA requires five (5) SSC credit passes or its equivalent at a maximum of two (2) sittings in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and two others from Geography, Chemistry, Physics, Agricultural Science/ Biology, Commerce, Fine Arts and Technical Drawing. Candidate is expected to have at least a pass in Physics.
  • (xi) IMSU requires five (5) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics or Geography and one other from Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Government and Technical Drawing.
  • (xii) JABU requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and any one of Geography, Fine Art, Woodwork, Technical Drawing, Biology or Economics plus ND at upper credit level.
  • (xiii) JOS requires five (5) credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two (2) from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Geography, Book-Keeping/Financial Accounting, Fine Arts, Technical Drawing, Surveying and Building Construction
  • (xiv) LAGOS requires Five O/Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, Chemistry/Physics and any one of Biology, Geography, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing/Fine Arts and Financial Accounting.
  • (xv) MINNA requires ‘O’ Level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics, Chemistry or Physics and any one (1) of Biology, Geography and Accounting.
  • (xvi) OAU requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English, Mathematics, Economics and any other two (2) of which must be a Science subject
  • (xvii) RENAISSANCE requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Geography, Economics and Biology at not more than two (2) sittings.
  • (xviii) RSU requires Five (5) WASC/SSCE /GCE/NECO ‘O’ level/credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any other two (2) Science subjects.
  • (xix) UNIOSUN requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credits in SSC including Mathematics, English, Chemistry, Physics and Geography.
  • (xx) UNIZIK requires credit pass in Economics.
  • (xxi) UNN requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings in Mathematics, English Language, Economics and any other two (2) subjects one of which must be a science subject.
  • (xxii) UYO does not require ‘O’ Level credit passes in Chemistry for Estate Management. Requires ‘O’ Level credit pass in Economics.
  • (xxiii) KASU requires Five ‘O’ level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two other subjects one of which must be a science subject.

DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENT FOR ESTATE MANAGEMENT

  • Two (2) A’ LEVEL passes in Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Biology and Physics.
VIEW SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS (WAIVER)
  • (i) BAUCHI a) for Environmental Management Technology: 1) two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in English Language or Mathematics and Chemistry/Biology Geography/Biology or Agricultural Science. 2) ND/HND upper credit in the Sciences or any relevant programmes. b) for Estate Management) accepts ND lower credit in Estate Management from a recognized polytechnic. The candidate must also have the five (5) O’ Level requirements in English Language, Mathematics, two (2) science subjects and ‘O ’level credit pass in Economics or Geography.
  • (ii) BELLS accepts a) two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Mathematics, Economics or Geography/Physics/ Chemistry. b) ND/HND upper credit in Estate Management.
  • (iii) CARITAS – No Direct Entry. (iv) CUAB accepts a) ‘A’ Level/IJMB in relevant subjects and at acceptable grades. b) ND or HND in Estate Management or allied professions or professional certificate may be assessed and placed appropriately.
  • (v) ESUTECH accepts ND/HND in Estate Management.
  • (vi) FUTA accepts; a) ‘A’ Level passes at not less than Credit level in Cambridge International Examination (CIE), Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination (IJMBE), Joint University Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB), General Certificate Examination (GCE) in Economics and at least, any one of Mathematics, Geography, Biology or Chemistry; or not less than C; or b) ND in Estate Management/Estate Management and Valuation or any field relevant to Environmental Planning, Design and Management with at least Upper Credit; or c) Any other equivalent qualifications.
  • (vii) ILORIN accepts for Estate Management HND lower credit in Estate Management for admission into 200 level provided the candidate has at least ND lower credit in Estate Management; in addition to ‘O’ Level requirements for Estate Management.
  • (viii) IMSU – accepts HND in Estate Management.
  • (ix) JABU accepts two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Biology and Chemistry. ND in Estate Management or field relevant to Environmental Planning, Design and Management with at least upper credit.
  • (x) JOS accepts a) IJMB/’A’ Level in two (2) relevant subjects or ND credit with in Estate Management or related programmes or Professional Certificate who applied through JAMB could be admitted into Year II of the programme, provided that they satisfy the relevant ‘O’ Level requirements specified above. b) Degrees in related programmes or HND in Estate Management may also be considered for Direct Entry admission, provided they satisfy the ‘O’ Level credits requirement.
  • (xi) LAGOS accepts Very good passes in JUPEB/A’ Level subjects: Mathematics, Economics and any one of Chemistry and Geography. HND/ND (Distinction) requirements in relevant field into 300/200 level.
  • (xii) MINNA accepts ND/HND lower credit in relevant course into 200 and 300 level respectively in addition to UTME requirement. Requires ‘A’ Level credit pass in Mathematics and Economics or Geography plus five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any of Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Technical Drawing.
  • (xiii) OAU requires a) HND in Environmental Design and Management or equivalent qualifications with at least upper credit. b) ‘A’ Level or its equivalent in Mathematics, Economics and any other two (2) taken from Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Fine Arts and Technical Drawing.
  • (xiv) ODUDUWA accepts ND/HND upper credit in relevant programmes.
  • (xxii) RSU accepts; Admission to Year II. HND (Lower Credit) in relevant discipline. At least two (2) HSC/GCE ‘A’ level passes in Economics and any other relevant Science subject. OND/ND, UD (Upper Credit) in relevant discipline In addition, all such candidates also satisfy the requirements for admission through UME. Admission to Year III.HND (Upper Credit) in relevant discipline.
  • (xv) UNIOSUN accepts two (2) good passes at ‘A’ Level in Mathematics, Economics, Geography and Chemistry; ND/HND in Estate Management and/or field relevant to environmental planning, design and management with at least upper credit score.
  • (xvi) UYO accepts ND upper credit and HND lower credit in relevant programmes in addition to UTME requirements.
  • (xvii) LCITY requires ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two (2) subjects.
  • (xviii) KASU accepts Two ‘A’ Level passes Mathematics and Economics. ND/HND Lower Credit in related field. IJMB/GCE ‘A’ Level .7 points and above in addition to ‘O’ Level requirement.
