As a JAMB Candidate, if you didn’t read at least 1hr in January, you just wasted 744 hours in the last 31 days.
As we move into the new month, don’t make such mistakes.
If you do, when it’s time for results, you will NOT be proud of your decisions. Be smart, and make the right decision now.
Here are the updates you probably missed out.
- BREAKING: JAMB Announces New Start Date for 2025 UTME Registration
JAMB Registration will no longer start today, 31st Jan. The date has been changed.
The new date is Monday, 3rd February 2025.
The change came as a result of the ban on law admissions into some schools, together with irregularities from some JAMB CBT Centers.
- JAMB Suspends Law Admission in POLAC, KWASU, Six Other Varsities
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) will no longer conduct admissions for the Law program in Eight (8) Universities.
They include:
- Kwara State University (KWASU),
- The Nigerian Police Academy (POLAC),
- Arthur Jarvis University,
- Taraba State University,
- Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike,
- Bingham University,
- Redeemers University, and
- Western Delta University.
If you intend to study law in any of those universities, consider changing your school of choice or course.
- JAMB Introduces Solution for Candidates Who Cannot Retrieve Their Previously Used But Lost SIM Cards
To register for JAMB, you must have a profile code which must be linked with your NIN.
This isn’t a problem for candidates who have never registered for JAMB.
However, for candidates who have registered for JAMB, didn’t gain admission, and then decide to re-register again the JAMB, they must use their previous phone number.
Issues arise when these candidates don’t have access to their phone number, say they lost it.
Such candidates are almost denied from registering for the JAMB Exam.
Now there’s a solution.
All you have to do is, during JAMB Registration, in an approved JAMB CBT Center, indicate that you have lost your SIM card.
That’s all. The CBT Center Operator will know what to do.

- Commencement of 2025 JAMB UTME Registration: 3rd February 2025.
- Deadline for the 2025 UTME Registration: 5th March 2025.
- 2025 UTME Mock Examination Date: 5th April 2025.
- Printing of 2025 UTME Examination Slips: 18th April 2025.
- 2025 UTME Examination Date: 25th April – 5th May 2025.
- Release of UTME Results: To be announced.
- Sale of 2025 Direct Entry (DE) application form: 10th March 2025.
- Deadline for the 2025 DE application: It will likely be on or before 7th April 2025.
