Sharing his beautiful story with ALLSCHOOL, the brilliant student narrated that though his target had always being to graduate with a first class honors, he is happy with his result and glad he emerged the overall best graduating student in his department.
Femi, a 25-year-old man, graduated as the best in Sociology department with a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 4.35.
Narrating how he chose the course to ALLSCHOOL, Femi said:
“I chose the school because of it standard and it academic records.
“Studying sociology was not the goal as a young lad, I had wanted to be a legal practitioner but back then in 2014 after graduating from secondary school, I applied for a pre degree programme so as to avoid sitting at home which I did even when my SSCE (WAEC) result was not yet out but with a high hope I applied for it but when the result was out I had a D in literature in English and this automatically disqualified me from applying for Law that year so I took it for Sociology.”
He added that one of the saying that took him to where he was was “If not you, then who?”
Advising students who want to excel academically, Femi said: “There are no magics and miracles to writing First class than what some of them already know.
Firstly, you have to believe in yourself because no one can be a motivator to you if you’re not the first motivator of your own life.
Secondly, you must have a focus and a set goal and work tirelessly towards achieving it. If not you then who?
Femi further added that he is open for graduate scholarships and can be reached through the following mediums:
