A final year female student at Obafemi Obafemi Awolowo University(OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun State, as Instablog reported died after being denied urgent treatment at the University Clinic center.


It was reported that the student identified as Adesina Aishat Omawunmi, until her death was a final year student of Foreign language of the institution.
According to a source, the deceased who was seriously sick was rushed to the health center on Thursday evening but didn’t get treatment.
It was reported that she was allegedly denied treatment by the medical personnel on duty who insisted on presentation of her health centre card or school identity card.
Unfortunately, Aisha passed on as she didn’t get treatment on time.
Her d*ath has sparked a protest by students of the institution who are demanding better medical care to avoid a reoccurrence.
The students are unhappy with the delayed experience from the medical treatment center as they want everything to change.
