Professor Olabode Bamigbola from the Department of Mathematics of University of Ilorin assumes that Nigeria can use mathematical optimization and scientific methods to solve insecure problems.

Mr. Bamigbola stated this in his 207th inaugural speech at the university on Friday, entitled: “Making the Best use of what you have: mathematical methods”.
Tang, who teaches at the UNILORIN Faculty of Physical Sciences, observed that the problem that hinders the optimization of our people’s lives is insecurity.
He classified them as terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and herder problems, unemployment, economic challenges, and unstable power supply.
According to him, all these problems can be solved using mathematical and scientific methods.
