Ayomide Olamoyegun, a brilliant 19-year-old Nigerian woman, has graduated from Babcock University with a first-class degree in Software Engineering, achieving an impressive 4.81 GPA.

She was honored as the best graduating student in her department. Ayomide shared her story on LinkedIn, describing her academic journey from confusion to clarity. She began her studies at the age of 15, initially unsure of her career path.

She first considered Computer Engineering and then explored Medicine during her A-levels at Bowen University, where she excelled, ranking among the top three students in the Science Department.

During a period of uncertainty, while waiting for admission decisions, Ayomide developed a strong interest in coding.

Motivated by a friend studying Software Engineering at Babcock University, she decided to follow this newfound passion despite not having the ideal subject background, which included Biology instead of Mathematics.

She successfully entered the second year of the Software Engineering program at Babcock University, overcoming the initial challenges with the support of friends and a helpful lecturer.

Ayomide not only graduated at the age of 19 but also achieved the remarkable feat of being the second-best graduating student in her department.

She expressed gratitude to her parents, friends, and everyone who supported her, acknowledging their role in her success.

Alongside her academic accomplishments, Ayomide developed skills as a Backend Developer and AI enthusiast, eager to explore further opportunities in these fields.
