Gerald Mukhwana and Hylin Nyarangi, a couple from Moi University in Kenya, recently graduated together with degrees in Education Science. They met in their first year, became friends, and eventually started dating a year later. Hylin shared their journey on social media, highlighting how their friendship grew into a partnership and eventually a family.

The couple’s love story is truly inspiring. Gerald mentioned that Hylin’s understanding nature, support, and caring personality won him over. Despite facing some opposition from their families, they remained committed to each other and their academic goals.

Interestingly, Hylin gave birth to their six-month-old daughter via caesarean section just two weeks before her exams. She showed remarkable strength, attending classes throughout her pregnancy and sitting for exams after the surgery. Another couple, Elvis Koech and his wife, also graduated together from Kenya Highlands University, celebrating their achievement with twins.

Their story highlights the importance of support and commitment in relationships, especially when pursuing academic goals. Both Gerald and Hylin and their families have shown resilience and adaptability, making their graduation a celebration of love, hard work, and perseverance.
