Niger Poly Pre-ND, IJMB, Diploma, & Remedial Admission Forms for 2018/19 Academic Session is Out. The cost of the form is N5,000. Deadline to apply is  31st October, 2018. More details below;

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru IJMB, Polytechnic Diploma, and Remedial Programmes for the 2018/2019 Academic Session.

Courses:

One (1) Year Full-time Remedial (Pre-ND) Programme.

The Remedial programmes are designed to prepare candidates with deficiencies in the entry requirements and subsequent admissions for full-time National Diploma (ND) programmes in the following:

1. School of Engineering Technology (SET)
   1. Civil Engineering Technology
   2. Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology
   3. Mechanical Engineering Technology.
2. School of Environmental Studies (SES)
   1. Building Technology
   2. Estate Management and Valuation
   3. Quantity Surveying
   4. Urban and Regional Planning.
3. School of Natural and Applied Sciences
   1. Computer Science
   2. Statistics
   3. Science Laboratory Technology.

Two (2) Years Polytechnic Diploma:

1. Survey and Geo-informatics
2. Office Technology Management
3. Social Development Studies
4. Hospitality Management
5. Library and Information Science.

One (1) Year Full-Time IJMB Programme.

The Polytechnic runs one (1) year full time IJMB programmes in three (3) combinable subjects in Natural and Applied Sciences, Engineering and Arts leading to possible undergraduate courses in Universities

Admission Requirements:

One (1) Year Full-time Remedial (Pre-ND) Programme.

A minimum of five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings obtained from WAEC/SSCE, NECO, GCE, NABTEB and Teachers’ Grade Two Certificate in subjects relevant to the programmes.

Two (2) Years Polytechnic Diploma:

The minimum entry requirements for Polytechnic Diploma programmes in the specified fields are:

A Minimum of five (5) credit passes at WAEC/SSCE, NECO, GCE, NABTEB and Teachers’ Grade Two Certificate or equivalent, in not more than two (2) sittings, which must include English Language and Mathematics.

One (1) Year Full-Time IJMB Programme.

The minimum entry requirements for IJMB Programmes in the specified field are:

WAEC/SSCE, NECO, GCE, NABTEB and Teachers’ Grade Two Certificate with atleast five (5) credit passes or equivalent (in not more than two (2) sittings) in relevant subjects.

How to Apply for Niger State Polytechnic Remedial Admission.

All applicants must purchase the Polytechnic admission access Pin from any Commercial Bank through E-Transact for a Non-refundable fee of five thousand naira (N5,000.00) only excluding Bank Charges.

The admission form can be accessed online at the Polytechnic website, www.nigerpoly.edu.ng. Follow these steps to complete the Admission Form online:

1. Open to the website
2. Click online Forms
3. Click Admission Form
4. Enter your Pin Code and Click Login
5. Fill the Form
6. Click Preview Form
7. Upload your Passport size Picture and Print Preview
8. Click Submit.

Closure of Sales of Admission Form: Sales of Admission Forms ends on 31^st October, 2018.

Screening Exercise for all admissions will take place at Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru, Main Campus on a date to be announced later.
