In a remarkable achievement, Owojuyigbe Mayorkun Josiah, a talented individual from Nigeria, has graduated from Redeemers University in Nigeria with a remarkable grade point average of 4.93.
He successfully earned a first-class honors degree in Mass Communication from Redeemers University, which is located in Osun State, Nigeria.
Initially, Josiah enrolled at the University of Ibadan with the intention of pursuing a degree in Medicine and Surgery at the university’s College of Medicine. He dedicated nearly four years to this program but faced significant challenges in maintaining satisfactory academic performance.
Consequently, due to his struggles with maintaining good grades, he made the difficult decision to discontinue his studies in medicine.
After withdrawing from the medical program, Josiah resolved to retake the West African Examination Council (WAEC) exam in pursuit of a new academic path. Unfortunately, he did not pass the WAEC exam on his subsequent attempt.
Despite these setbacks, Josiah’s determination remained unwavering. He decided to return to high school, where he successfully completed the necessary exams and ultimately secured admission to Redeemers University.
There, he embarked on an academic journey in Mass Communication. Despite the challenges he encountered during this transition, he excelled academically and achieved an outstanding GPA.
During his second year at Redeemers University, Josiah established Archbishop News, a campus blog that received numerous prestigious awards.
His academic accomplishments culminated in him graduating as the top-performing student in his class. Josiah expressed gratitude to his parents, lecturers, and fellow students for their unwavering support and contributions to his success.
He also encourages students to pursue excellence and persevere in their academic pursuits, even in the face of adversity.
