The Federal University Oye-Ekiti has elected Professor Babatope Alabadan, FNIAE, as the new Dean of the School of Postgraduate Studies.

A distinguished academic in Agricultural and Bioresources Engineering, Professor Alabadan is renowned for his scholarly contributions and administrative expertise. He previously served as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and as Chair of the Committee of Deans and Directors, where he played a pivotal role in shaping academic policy and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration.
His appointment is viewed as a major milestone in FUOYE’s academic development, particularly in the area of postgraduate studies.
